PURIFYING FACE GEL

Skin-renewing cleansing gel specifically designed for daily cleansing of the face, neck, and décolleté, and weekly as an exfoliating cleansing gel for the body, suitable for oily and acne-prone skin. Alpha-beta hydroxy acids (mandelic, glycolic, malic, tartaric, phytic, and lactic) synergized with gluconolactone are an adjuvant in the cosmetic treatment of all skin types. They exfoliate the stratum corneum, restoring elasticity, plumpness, and hydration, thanks also to the presence of hyaluronic acid. Prepares the skin for the application of NEOGLIS® DERMOCEUTICALS.

Directions for use : Apply a thin, even layer of gel to the face, neck, and décolleté morning and evening, carefully avoiding the eye and lip contours. Massage thoroughly like a traditional cleanser for 2 minutes and rinse thoroughly with water. Repeat if necessary.

Recommendations : Facial and body cleansing gel with an acidic pH, suitable for acne-prone, very oily, and hyperkeratotic skin. We recommend using the gel daily, morning and evening, on dry skin. Discontinue use when blemishes are no longer present. For the body, we recommend using it in the shower, on dry skin, three times a week, rubbing the product with a sponge onto the most impure and thickened areas of the skin, even those with acne. It is highly recommended as an exfoliant in critical areas where ingrown hairs form.
Also recommended for skin with oily skin and seborrhea, once a week.

  • LACTIC ACID(AHA)
    It is an organic acid belonging to the alpha-hydroxy acid category, substances capable of breaking the bonds formed between keratinocytes, promoting physiological skin exfoliation. Lactic acid has skin exfoliating, pH-regulating, and conditioning properties.
  • MANDELIC ACID
    The name "mandelic" comes from the word "mandel," meaning almond. It belongs to the category of AHA alpha hydroxy acids.
  • GLYCOLIC ACID
    It is the smallest of the alpha-hydroxy acids. It is derived from natural sources such as fruit, beets, and sugar cane. It appears as a crystalline solid, odorless and colorless, and highly soluble in water. Its low molecular weight facilitates its absorption into the stratum corneum. Its activity is linked to its ability to reduce the cohesive forces between corneocytes through direct action on desmosomes. The exfoliation of the upper layer of the epidermis and the resulting increase in cell turnover leads to increased fibroblast activity and the production of collagen and elastin.
  • MALIC ACID
    It is an alpha-hydroxy acid characteristic of fruit, particularly abundant in apples. It comes in the form of a white, water-soluble powder. When combined with other AHAs, it exhibits effective keratolytic activity. Its acantholytic action reduces adhesion between corneocytes and thins the stratum corneum, facilitating the rapid elimination of pigmented corneocytes, resulting in a lightening effect and increased skin luminosity. Applied to acne-prone skin, it exerts comedolytic activity, facilitating the emptying of cysts and microcysts.
  • HYALURONIC ACID(Sodium Hyaluronate)
    It's a fundamental component of the skin, with hydrating, regenerating, and anti-aging properties. It preserves cellular function, providing elasticity, softness, and firmness.
  • PHYTIC ACID
    Sodium Phytate is the sodium salt of Phytic Acid, a natural chelator derived from wheat bran and rice. It appears as a dark, water-soluble liquid with a distinctive odor. The primary function of sodium phytate is to chelate metal cations (calcium, magnesium, iron), preventing them from binding with other ingredients in the cosmetic formulation and altering the product's stability.
  • GLUCONOLACTONE(PHA)
    Gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy acid. It has strong hygroscopic and long-term hydrating properties due to the presence of numerous hydroxyl groups. Applied to the skin, it promotes exfoliation and cell renewal, modulating the keratinization process. It also has strong antioxidant properties and helps restore a damaged skin barrier.
